This role oversees all finance, accounting, tax, and BOI-related activities for the Thai entities, ensuring compliance and excellence in reporting. It also supports strategic initiatives, including a major factory project, working closely with senior leadership.

Job Description

  • Lead financial accounting and reporting for Thai entities in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, trial balances, and reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly group reporting and liaise with HQ in Europe.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Act as the primary contact for BOI matters, including applications, amendments, and compliance.
  • Build relationships with government officials to support BOI privileges and new project approvals.
  • Oversee all tax-related matters, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings.
  • Support tax aspects of the project.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and manage treasury communications with HQ.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and support finance process improvements.
  • Maintain legal documentation and ensure timely execution of board and shareholder meeting materials.
  • Oversee contract registration and ensure SOP compliance.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Director and project teams.
  • Represent the company externally in financial and regulatory matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Reporting, with team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai financial regulations and practices.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with SAP.
  • Fluent in Thai and English, with excellent communication, strong can-do attitude and analytical skills.
