The Accounting and tax manager will play a critical role in managing the taxation process of a global manufacturing company. This role will require expertise in tax matters, accounting, and financial planning and strategic analysis.

Job Description

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day accounting operations including month-end/year-end closing, account reconciliation, and inventory accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements and coordinate with auditors.
  • Manage direct and indirect tax matters including CIT, VAT, WHT, and customs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on tax planning and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of compliance filings with the Revenue Department, DBD and the Board of Investment (BOI).
  • Manage transfer pricing documentation and coordinate with external consultants.
  • Support tax forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls across accounting and tax processes.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management to the accounting and tax team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager (Tax) should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in accounting and tax, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai tax laws, BOI regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry and working with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
